Anybody know about Ulead Video Studio..???

IE.... I have captured a long clip, I have bracketed, edited and copied a segment and placed in library...

How do I get from library "anywhere" ??

Would like to save to my pics or e: drive to be able tpo browse and snag with photobucket...

So far no luck...and original clip too long and boreing to load online....

When you were editing it and such, there should have been a tools or options button. In there you could designate where you wanted it saved to. If you know that location, you should be able to move or copy and paste from there. Nothing else, if you can open library in the program open file and "Save As" to a directory that you choose.

But I can only save it as .VSP file...off of edit library..??

Which Photobucket won't recognise... how can I convert to Gif..? or any other useable..?

I lost all the Sami cam stuff...???

 I can't find it anwhere... I saved to my pics, but it says  "not linking"...?? to what...??

Checked wastebasket nothing there..??

I think I lost all the SamiCam footage.. ARRRRGGHHHH

Do a search for *.VSP
If that is what it saves it as, then you shoudl find it. Maybe it went to a different folder.

I have the vsp... but it's blank....thats the one that says "original file does not exist" and the one it's trying to "link" to...

I'll see if I can get ahold of Rocky and tell him he needs to look at the posts here...his assistance is required asap. He should be in FL by now. He left here about 1:00 yesterday, after we replaced a rear coil spring/strut and tire because he broke the spring on his car and it rubbed a hole in his tire big enough to drive his mower through.

Was the camera video perhaps on a removable drive, or on the camera plugged into the PC? If so that's why it wouldn't be able to "find it" so-to-speak...

How was the video clip moved onto your PC? May it be in a different drive, folder, perhaps USB stick or something?

No, the video was directly loaded from Sami Cam to PC... So that would have been the only copy...

I think I know what happened and unfortunately it's all gone now...

I had the full length video  ...I cut out some clips to use... I cleared the thumbnails to just my "clips"... But I need the Full length vid to link "to" for them to show up ...

Full length is gone and so clips are "dead"... I should have backed up to DVD or card prior to editing..

Sucks...

But the SamiCam did work well...

Ouch, sounds like the software nuked it - which would actually delete the copy, not send it to the recycle bin. It may be salvageable, but you would need special software to get it. This "Sami cam", what exactly is it? It's not something that you can pull the video off of again?

SamiCam is that spy cam from ebay taped to her helmet.... Radio signal to box to PC...

PC actually held video...yes software deleted so it's gone...I thought it was just the thumbnail not the whole video clip....
