need kohler cam info please

Ok, this may seem like a stupid question but here it goes...

I have a vertical shaft kohler 18hp magnum oppossed motor #MV20 that is need of a cam.
I know where I can get a cam for a kohler horizontal 18hp #M18S.

The question is are the cams the same for these motors?

Yes, its the same cam, and your old cam is worth hanging onto for a core.
