20hp twin
« on: August 15, 2007, 07:14:45 pm »
I have the option of buying a 20hp twin for what i think is a good price(50$) it's well used and has some oil leaks but it runs well I'm wondering if this is agood eng to race or should i keep on looking for something else I'd like to buy the right eng from the begining so I don't end needing another if anyone has any experience good or bad let me know. thanks

If it runs good i would jump on that for fifty bucks, Now i use Briggs motors on most of my stuff and i am going to use one on my MOWchine, But i know Kohler's have quite a bit of power thats what i have seen on here, But even if you don't use it on your MOWchine i would still buy it for fifty dollars you could resell it for $150 - $250 easy.
If you cheat and win................you haven't won anything at all.

If you cheat and lose.....................well, then your just a looser!

Kohler engines are pretty reliable, you might want to tear it down and fix that oil leak though.
