Will this head work??

Will the head off of a  Briggs & Stratton 11 HP horizonal shaft engine, Model #253417, Type 0637 01, fit onto a 12 HP vertical shaft engine?? Many thanks

That is a good question that I can not find an answer to.

The 11hp vertical head will fit the 12hp vertical motor,but I do not know about using the head off a horizontal motor.

Vertical same as Horizontal.
