what is the recommeneded tire size for the best speed.

What Class...?? Or did I read somewhere this was just for banging around...??

Some classes have restrictions on sizes and you would need to go by the rules....If the gear ratio is "fixed" then get the "tallest" tire (brand/circumference) you can find in the regulated tire size...

If you gear ratio is open, a shorter tire will make the mowchine more stable (lower to ground) and be able to "spin up" faster (better leverage)...

It's a local class main ruels motor must be near stock any size, every thing else is open we call it thge "altered" class.

Oh yah, Rim size is limited to 6" front,8" rear.

One of my mowchines is a "regulated" 18X9.5X8 the other is a "small" mowchine where I'm allowed to run 6" rims on the rear...

But for what your talking about a 16X6.5X8 or 16X7.5X8 would do nicely...

Then run them on wide rims (7X8 or 8X8)
