confused again.
« on: April 03, 2007, 05:18:55 pm »
Got my 600 back together and installed. Went for a ride did fine. Put my new exhaust on and went out for a ride. I was in third and downshifted into 2mnd. It would not move. I went through every gear and it just goes in gear and stays there. What can cause this?

sound like you broke something inside , like maybe the shift forks or the input gear . I would recommend not running it till you pull it apart and find out what happened , You keep spinning it and something is going to catch and break stuff all to heck .

More than likely caused by the downshift.  Don't shift when moving!  Especally on dry ground or pavement.
