Hey sorry about the sickness guys.  I just got over the flu myself. :puke:  Hope everyone gets better!

Anyway, I was in home depot and I figured I'd get that chromed copper tubing while I was there and if it didn't work, oh well... it cost me $3 for a straight tube and two elbows, which the lady threw in for free because they didn't have tags on em.  I also checked on that heatless solder.  I found some called 'QuikSteel', it's made for exhaust and muffler patching, and it's rated for 500 degrees farenheit.  Is 500 good enough?  I read what you said about the tube diameter so the first section of pipe is 1 1/4" and the last is 1 1/2" to make sure I get good power through all RPMs.  I wanted to do an under-frame exhaust with a side exit, but my front axle is too low unless I had the pipe come out the side of the engine compartment and under the foot hold.  I don't know... theres too many possibilities :bash:  If it works then I'll try and post some pics on here.  If not, then it's straight to G-Team I go lol!

1100* you're probably gonna melt the pipe, let alone the solder!

I'm not running a top-fuel super-mod briggs and stratton lol!  It's all stock, and I probably won't be windin her up too much either.  I could use the header that's on it now and just take the muffler off it, but it's a really small diameter pipe and it sounds like an .049 cox engine and backfires like a crappy tuned 2-stroke.  I need some affordable rumblin action lol!

Oh!!! We thought you wanted to go fast!! Yeah it just ain't cool to be zipping around the yard on your mower sounding like a remote control airplane. Neighbors will be standing out in the yard wondering where the guy with the controller is. "Would you look at that Martha! What button you suppose makes him grin like that?!"   :D

Just step it up from where you're at now. Find a piece of 1 1/4" exhaust pipe from G-Team, local car shop, wife/mom's old vacuum cleaner, or something... notch the end with a hacksaw, crimp to fit exising header, and weld her up. Should gain a horse or two and add some rumble at the same time. A little grinding and sanding to smooth things up, and a lot of shiny header paint, and you should be good!  ;)

Now THAT sounds like a plan LOL!  Yeah, she's not runnin on nitromethane or aviation fuel yet lol!  I would like to get a little quicker just to screw around in the yard and drive around at car shows (since I'm sellin my go-cart) but the vari-drive and splined transaxle pulley are gettin me.
