Briggs 22hp V-Twin
« on: March 02, 2020, 07:33:21 am »
Hello. I am new to all of this, and need some help on hooking up a steering wheel/hand throttle. I have the hand brake, old style bicycle handle and purchased a standard cable to run from it to the linkage. Come to find out, the original throttle is a hard cable inside the cable housing. The new one is the limp braided cable. Will this work at all, or do i need to go another route. Its the odd looking round throttle hookup on a 22hp V-Twin Briggs engine, located directly in the lower front of the engine. Thank you for any help.

Why not run a foot throttle?

What would you suggest? I am not against that idea at all. Any thoughts or details would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
