« on: December 03, 2019, 05:06:57 pm »
Briggs and Stratton 14.5 Intek ohv

Standard bore avs piston
High torque starter
ARC billet flywheel
ARC billet rod
Flat head crank with ARC brass counter wieghts
Precsion cams PC440 cam
Custom sized stainless steel intake and exhaust valves
1.5 roller rockers
Chrome moly pushrods
EC carbs double valve springs
Billet locks and retainers
Billet valve cover
MWSC 1.00 race carb
Copper head gasket
Head milled .050 and Ported and polished
TPMS (pulse) fuel pump
Performance air filter with velocity cone and pre filter
Stainless shroud cover
Governor removed

What kind of compression am I expecting? (Low) I wanted to go more on the head but my machinist got cold feet.

What rpm range is the 440 cam happy?

Is the longer plastic intake better than the short aluminum one from a flatty?

What kind of performance should I expect out of this build?

Crank case vent is ran to a catch can and I have the catch can routed to the pump, should I put a filter on catch can and run pump off intake?

Is 30 the limit on timing regaurdless of compression/fuel used etc

Good combo but it wont run with the 33's. Need to go more on the head, I like .085. Don't run the double springs, the bolts will most likely pull out of the head or break the head. As I said on FB, get your pump pulse from the intake not the catch can.
