Head gasket

I have a 21hp vanguard with flat top pistons that sit in the hole .050" right now it has the .032" copper head gasket could I run a thinner copper gasket?

Depending on how much valve to piston clearance you have. Using a cheeta cam or something less then 500 lift you could take off .045-.050 tho off more easy. Just puddy the piston when done to double check valve clearances. Wouldn’t go less than .040 to piston.
