I see in the IMOW rules you have to have a bolt or a castellated nut with cotter key or a safe way to lock tire to axle. There is not enough room. How do you do it. Thanks for your time .

I can drill but there is nit enough room on wheel. I wonder if I could weld a bolt on the end of axle? I do not know if I can weld to that axle without causing problems.

Have you considered a doc locker? It lets you use a straight axle, and then you can you have lock collars or bolts on the axle.
