I have a 27 hp intek twin on a JD zero turn grass cutter it back fired twice while cutting grass and broke a rod any ideas why. Thanks for any replies. It was full of oil

If the code on engine is before 08 then it had the skeleton rods that were known for doing that. Pretty much all built 08 and after used the 49 cube rods.

Thanks Tank the mower is about 4 years old ill have to look at the code where are you racing at

Haven't raced in a while. Sold all my mower stuff and almost finished with a new full size car to race some this year.
