I had the first #95 grind back in the day. I don't recall the specs anymore, but I might still have a grind sheet on my shelf in the shop.
I will check tonight.

I looked in all my usual places, and no grind sheet for that particular cam. I must have tossed them. I still have a few from our last Tecumseh grinds, but thse won't help.

The old Precision Cheetah cam, which was in all reality only good for making power in about a thousand RPM window had specs of

Intake-open @40, Close @80, centerline of 108, 246 duration
Exhaust-open @ 79, Close @40, centerline of 111, 247 duration.
(I found an old sheet on it) They do not provide lobe separation angles..

If memory serves, the #95 had a 106 or 107 centerline, alot more overlap, and lift in the .310" range.
It also made power through a much wider and more useable range.

Ed, I think you're pretty close on those numbers.

Ed

You sent me the grind sheets when I bought the engines.

I passed them on to who I sold them to.  I don't remember where they went.

Great engines.......just too many moron drivers in the CP class at that time.

Thanks. Do you know up to what rpm the 95 made power to?

It would pull past 6K, not sure how far though, as I limited it to there, as I had a tendency to break crankshafts.
Lots of crankshafts.

Ed, I thought you told me that cam was good for 9200rpm.

Might very well be.
Briggs crankshafts are only good for about 1500 though..

Do you by chance have a ballpark estimate of duration?
