I found this on (outdoorpowersports.com)....
The inlet seat is molded as a part of the fuel transfer tube body (#6, red). The main jet is removable. It sits at the bottom of the fuel transfer tube and is slid in from the top....
Has anyone heard of a molded inlet seat for the needle?

easy, when you took the carb apart, the needle came out of a hole. Now do tell if that hole has a brass sleeve in it with a tiny hole (1/16" or 1/8")  that's your difference.  big one gravity feed, little one fed by pumping apparatus

The leak came from a bad gasket ,not the big main carb gasket but the small round one .some carbs it's part of the main carb gasket and some it's seperate
