I rewired the ignition to a push button and kill switch . I dont understand how the stator charges the battery. Do i just run a wire from the hot wire on stator to the positive terminal or is there more? Also the solenoid isnt working .i push start button and hear the solenoid engage on the inside but nothing happens .i can bridge it with skrew driver and it starts.is solenoid bad?
