16hp command single crank
« on: July 28, 2017, 08:36:18 am »
Does anyone by chance know the crank size on a Command 16hp single?
My grass cutter is knocking so I am looking to get a replacement engine in hand to swap in when it finally chucks the rod..
It has a goofy electric clutch thats a pain to get off, so I figured it would be easier to ask.

Ed
Mine on a John Deere is one inch.  My clutch wasn't a pain to remove but a pain to keep on.

Mine is a Simplicity.
From what I can find, I guess those engines had either a 1", or a 1 1/8", so it looks like I will have to take it off anyhow.
With all the rain we have been getting the lawn is growing like crazy, so I want to have an engine ready for when this one pops.

He can't Al. I retired!
Gary Busey and Rick James both used to live in my shop. Redline stole them.

Tracy has mentioned goats before.
I told her to have some recipes handy..
Only goat I would allow on my property are certain GTO's.
