Hi all,
First post to say hello!
My son wanted to build a petrol go kart from scrap parts but when I went to have a look at a quad bike in our local scrap yard, I was told by a couple of guys that worked there that a lawn mower conversion might be easier.
We ended up buying a Lawn Flite 304 ride on mower with a Briggs and Stratton 11.5hp engine.

The engine was seized but we got it running after a little soak and turning it over with a breaker bar.

Our aim is to get this thing running and driving before going on to modify it to make it a little sportier!
I'll use the search function but I apologise for any questions we ask that have been asked a thousand times before!
