Vertical Shaft Centrifugal Clutch vs. Belt Clutch
« on: December 26, 2017, 07:45:01 pm »
I'm currently running a vertical shaft belt/clutch system from the crankshaft to gearbox then gearbox chained to drive sprocket. I'm thinking of putting a centrifugal clutch on the crankshaft then chaining that to the gearbox. Is this a good idea? What are your other ideas?

Second question: Im running a 20hp briggs and stratton twin, would a 18hp centrifugal clutch still be fine?
