USLMRA and ARMA frame width question in FXS/FXT
« on: March 29, 2017, 03:23:47 pm »
Well, I started building my chassis and apparently while welding my tack welds didn't hold my frame rails solid enough and when I finished welding and let it cool my rails had pushed out to 15-1/8" with 15" being max.  Just wondering if there was a little cushion in it as long as it wasn't excessive and considering powder coating can add width to many of the bare frames when assembled.  I don't want to cut this thing all back apart but if I need to them so be it

I know.... but sure as I didn't cut it all apart I would have been dinged anyway.  Figured I was gonna have to cut it all up... oh well

It will never get checked.  Unless someone complains you are cheating.

If you get teched out be cause of 1/8" I wouldn't race with that group ever again.
