Topic: New to yalls side 35 vanguard builds

Hey guys new to this page I'm coming from the mud boat world. I am running vanguard 35hp horizontal blocks on a combination of two different frames but not here to talk about the frame here I'm here to learn about the motors y'all are building.
I have 3 blocks
2005 35 non cdi
- 42hsr mikuni ported and polished stock intake with pvt adapter port and polish also
- .045 decked heads stock size ss valves double pressure springs and heads ported and polished
- 308 lift cam
- non baffled ss exhaust (marshmellow double barrel x)
2014 35 marine cdi 4350 coils
- 42hsr mikuni ported polished stock intake with port and polish pvt adapter
- .035 decked heads with double pressure springs
- 310 lift billet cam
- non baffled ss exhaust (bps crossover)
2011 35 marine cdi 4750 coils (my new project trying to make a monster)
- 42hsr mikuni with custom ss intake I'm building
- cam thinking billet 315 lift
- heads not sure need help? (Rockers, springs, oversized valves, port and polished, and decked)
- wanna do extended rods and piston idk which though
- non baffled ss exhaust (Mac dual 1.5" outlets)
Need help on trying to build this new motor big

Not sure what you are wanting to know or what you want to do so I will give you some general information. You are on the right path but if you are you using the model 35 heads you are making no more than 45-50hp max even ported. Same goes for the stock intake it is the limiting factor. With a good cam, ported model 38 heads custom intake and a solid engine foundation (pistons rods springs etc) you can make 60-80 hp your wallet will limit you check out: facebook.com/carrierperformance and carrierperformance.net for all you vanguard needs
