The 400 is fully sealed and all bearings. Shift forks instead of shifter keys that break.crown and piƱon are steel. Going on 5 years on 3 of them with nothing but a seal fail. Need to gear it for 2nd as first and third like to pop out on high rpm or doing donuts in 1st. I made a shifter lock that can lock it in 1st or 3rd so it couldn't pop out but since removed as I gear for 2nd now. No support plate needed either. Ect....( how much you asking Tom I'm looking for another one?
