couple last things
« on: February 28, 2007, 11:13:45 pm »
Well I was out in the shop today for a good 4 hours doing some little things that still need to be done before the season starts in about three months. I got rid of the diamond plate on the dash and filled in all the factory holes. And I remounted my tach on the hood instead of where it was on the dash and then I built a simple subframe for the back because I was experiencing some shifting off the frame side ways.

this is my subframe.

And this is what it looked like before I did the work.

You may want to reconsider the tach on hood thing...not a real safe place in a roll over ...

Much more likely to survive where you had it on the dash there...

yea ... well i burnt up over $200 worth of tires that day lol ... but it was great. The track was cement, and it was the first time out on a brand new set of turfmasters ... bad idea. you could see the rubber build up on the track ... and the squel of the tires on the cement.
oh and stjohn ... your likely not going to beable to run that bumper ... stick to far out from whats allowed, Just something to ponder on.

cant wait for race season
