Hopping Question....

I have my fxt finally handling great but when coming out of the corner the front end starts hopping sometimes pretty violently.
has anyone else had this problem? if so what can I change that wont effect the handling?

I've seen some of our super mods and outlaws with that problem of hopping. I think frame flex has a lot to do with the loading / unloading problem that creates the hopping.  I'm no expert, but the ones I see hopping have a more flexible frame than those that don't.

Up your tire pressures a couple lbs ea at a time and find what it likes.

If running hosiers George is right.  More air pressure. 

If running the big 16" rears they like pressure.

I agree with the upping air pressure. We have made some pretty drastic changes to minimize hop, and what has helped up the most is more air.  Some have had frame issues and had to make big changes there. But we have solved most of it (knock on wood),with lots of air then adjust for a bit loose. my 2 cents
