Sprocket setup for cp class

Hey guys thought I'd check in and ask a quicky I have a 17 hp built techumseh and it currently has a 8 inch and 5 inch pulley with a 12 tooth front and 47 rear sprocket. My question is for 90 to 105 ft straights what is your best ideas for sprockets

What size rear tires?
With 6"(13"), and a 700, we used an 8"to 5", then a 15 trans. The rear we had in 2 tooth increments from 42-56
With 8" (16"), we used a 12 on the trans. All else remained the same.

90' straight, we would probably have a 52 or 54 on it, and spin it about 6500.

8 in back and I already have a 12 on transmission just don't know about that 47 in back but my mower wasn't running right either so il try again in a week and see from there
