Can anyone Identify this engine?
« on: February 17, 2007, 06:32:38 pm »
This is the engine that is on my new Sears tractor ( http://www.heymow.com/index.php/topic,2794.0.html )  It says craftsman all over it but I would like to know who made it for them, the hp and anything else.  There is a rusted over ID Tag on the other side but i wont be able to get to that until tommorow night.  Does anybody know anything about this engine?  Its got the solid state breaker points ignition on it, diaphram fuel pump, walbro carb and it has Timeken roller bearings in it.  Anybody?

thats exactally what is it, 10-16 hp is the range, i actually have one just like it sittin in my garage, theyre mosters and weigh a ton. The coil setup on them is kinda odd, ive had 2 of them, both were identical 16hp engines.

find a way around, or through to find a hole, some kind of break that
would allow some space. Once something broke thru, I could be there to
take advantage. Then I would finish 7th instead of 10th." - Dubba G
