hoosier tyres
« on: December 25, 2014, 11:19:24 pm »
Iv checked out the hoosier site but still stuck as to which tyres they are actually using on these race mowers. are they a kart tyre, ATV, drag, etc? I struggled to find the right set in 8" rim height by 8.5" to 9.5" tread width.
any help would be great..
cheers snyds

In 8 inch rim most run 15x8.5x8 or 16x8.5x8. I bought 16s because they were on sale for 120 for 2 tires and I don't know if they are still doing that so you have to call them.

I had buddy who ran hard compound tire compared to soft compound tire. The hard one lasted for only one season.

Good to hear from you Nip, wished 4200 series came in more than #20 compound. Will be changing to something differnt fo 2015 . one main = one tire get's expinsive after awhile. Plus give's up after about 5 laps.
