Alright can someone post pics of what to remove for the governor inside and out? While keeping the oil slinger? Also how much material can I remove from porting and polishing where I'm not gunna take to much out? I come from an automotive engine building knowledge so the small engine building is new to me, I plan on a billet flywheel and a cam and new lifters and other stuff for now. If you guys could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!

Do you have a scrapped block you can cut up? That way you can look at all the dimensions you need to.  Porting is a tricky thing, and there are many, many theories about what works best. Unfortunately this means there is no set formula for you. You will, like the rest of us, through experimentation, trial-and-error, and overall racing experience come to draw your own conclusions.

There is no plug-and-play in mower racing.
