Im new to the ap world and have a few questions, on a 69 huffy is it better to use a 6 to 4 pulley setup or a 5 to 5 pulley?

No matter the class, as you overdrive the tranny torque goes down so it gets better for the transmission as they are really not designed to do what we do. So as speed increases the load on the tranny goes down, it lives a lot longer.

Thanks to George for finially geting that through my thick head!

So the answer would be to run a 6 or 7 on the engine with a 4 or 5 on the tranny.
