Magnum twin question

What's the difference between the 15,16,17 and 18 HP Magnums?
Mostly found in Cubs. I can't find much info on the lower hp engines.
Just wondering if they cut the throttle back like the 18 Commands,
or went further.

14-18 same thing, different stickers. I've flipped a few 14's over to horz for pulling, 14hp & under can run 4000rpm stock class where the 15 & up turn 3800 reason for trying it.
swap out the crank, rods, jugs from the 20 mag into the smaller engines to make a "Stroker" 14hp engine

That's what I thunk. A fellow puller has a 15 in his Cub, was wondering if it's worth
playing with or not. I won quite a few events the last 2 years with an 18,
good stout engine. Takes very little to make them sing.
