Intek diodes
« on: July 14, 2014, 12:00:17 am »
I have an intek twin and when I wired the tether, I put in a diode between the two coils.  It caused me to only have spark on the opposite cylinder.  Thinking I hooked it up backwards, I flipped it, the spark switched cylinders, still causing me to have spark on one cylinder.  So I put in two diodes, it runs great but now my tether wont work! Does anyone have any idea what im doing wrong? I just don't understand why its doing this. Some please helps ASAP! Thanks!

It takes two diodes one at each coil then attach wire to diodes and run them together. If diodes are wired correctly it runs and dies when you ground the wire if not it will do as you speak or not kill or several other dumb mind boggling things.
