Topic: building a 28ci ohv non avs

Hello im trying to get info on building a 28 ohv non avs . I plan on putting a billet flywheel and billet rod can this motor be balanced with brass wieghts on crank. Also is there a difference between 28 and 31 ohv heads thanks this will help me get working on the motor.les

You can use a 12 flathead crank with nut on top then put weights on. Arc sells a billet crank. Huffy44 / tommy Daniels on here or I'm sure many others can balance your complete assembly . Rod, crank, pistion , bolts, clips pulley needed.28 vs 31 has same size valves but has different port design and the 31 has a larger combustion camber. Hope this helps

Coool thanks for info i also looked in my stash pile and found i also have 2. 31 and they arr none avs ill have to look at the 28flats and see if i have that version thanks
