What clutch would you recommend on a v twin. I want to go to centrifugal clutch and chain drive. I don't have much motor right now. but I only want to buy 1 clutch. or would I be better to use a belt on the motor for a little engine breaking?

The Noram Star clutch would be the best choice. It works great and is easy to change engagement rpm. Don't worry about the factory HP rating on it. It will handle far more without issue.

will the 35 chain handle a mower? I haven't had any trouble with them on my open karts but they don't weigh as much and they only have 20-25 hp or so.

35 to jack shaft 40 to rear axle is the normal combo
Use good chain and you won't have to worry
