The York County Lawn Mower Racing Association along with PhatBottom Speedway would like to introduce you to our organization and mower racing track. We are located in York, SC, and have been working hard at giving back to our community. The YCLMRA has donated over $1000.00 so far this season to local families in need and other non profit organization within our county. We have over 40 regular members who race every other weekend, and they are a great group of guys and gals. We are also under new ownership and management this year.

We welcome any racer from any organization, but you must purchase a $20.00 YCLMRA membership to race. Your membership comes with a membership card which allows the driver plus one person to enter our front gate free, it also comes with a free YCLMRA long sleeve tshirt. On a normal race days it's $10.00 per driver to race (this includes your insurance wristband), it will be $5.00 per additional class after your initial fee.

Our mowers are running SOMA rules, which is who we were sanctioned under before branching out on our own this year. But, most of our mowers were built to USLMRA specs due to many drivers attending their races. The only class that we have different from SOMA is our kids class.

Our Classes defined:
Kids Stock: 212 hp stock clone engine or 6 1/2 hp stock clone engine governed at 3650 rpm's

Mod XR - G/P

Powder Puff - Mod XR/ G/P for the ladies

Sportsman - Stock ungoverned V-Twin

Stock mini late model - grass cars

Super Sportsman - B/P

Super Mod Twin - FX/T

We run the classes above every other weekend. If you don't legally fit into one of our classes, we will put you in a class that is most like yours. You will not be awarded a trophy if you aren't legal in that class. We are always willing to add more classes, but we must know 2 weeks ahead of time if you'd like us to make a new class due to trophy purposes. We need confirmation from at least 3 or more like mowers to create a class.

We hope that y'all will give us a shot if you're ever in the area on race day.

Here is our schedule for the rest of our racing season:
