Topic: tvt691 turns over hard

looking for reasons a 22hp vtwin tecumseh would turn over hard? it does stat and run but i had to hook my jumper cables to the truck to get it to turn over. if it is a valve issue how do i set them and what are the specs. thanks Y'all

1/4 past top dead center on compression stroke set both to .004 if not that then starter is dragging.

ok this is gonna sound stupid. ive only adjusted valves on a single before so i get the 1/4 past tdc and the .004. so do i treat each cylinder as a single and set 1 at 1/4 past then do the same to the other cylinder. sorry for the dumb question
