Briggs 10HP
« on: March 23, 2014, 02:14:04 am »
I am looking for some briggs info.  I currently have a briggs engine on AP.  It is a 10HP, Model 255707-0125-02. I am looking for a spare and found this on Craigslist.  Model #254707-0119-01.  I want something my billet flywheel will fit on.  I had to have the hub milled down, so I want a direct swap.  Can anyone tell me if these two are direct replacements?  thanks a lot in advance.

Depending on which crank you have, it is the same crank..... one number
superceeds to the same crank, the other one is different, most likely, the
one you have is the odd one out. But, the crank you have and altered the hub to fit,
will fit in the block you want to use..... if that is what you are looking to do.
