supermod twin gearing

Hey guys I've searched but couldn't find anything what gear ratio would get me close,we mostly run 200 ft straight away track I have a peerless 1000 ragb with 16 inch hoosiers .thanks

I found some info on gearing  sounds like its pretty close 5 on motor 8 on tranny  14 tooth on ragb to 56 rear

That will give you a 6.4 to 1 ratio. I don't run 16" rear tires, but I think you might be lugging it pretty good. I would think maybe somewhere around 7.5 or 8 to 1 would be a good starting point. I run 12" rear tires and run ratios from around 5.5 to 1 to 6.5 to 1, depending on the track.

My FXT is usually between 7-1 and 8-1 at most big tracks. That is with 15-8-8 Hoosiers and turning rpms around 7500-8500.

Thanks guys that's a lot of help I wanna gear it for around 7500 Rpm I have a 12 tooth and 13 tooth for the ragb too.
