super mod steering
« on: February 08, 2014, 08:15:31 pm »
Ok im building my super mod with a vtwin vanny and have the steering going over the top of the engine, the problem is that when i turn, the bottom where the tie rods go turns alot but my steering wheel turns like not even a quarter turn,im using 5/8" solid steel rod. And i think my pivot point needs to be adjusted cus it doesnt wanna turn the wheels,we had it working before but we moved the motor back more and had to re do the steering now we ran into this issue

My tie rods go on the inside closest to the motor not on the outside like yours though
