Has anyone ever made a extention or jackshaft to come off from the output shaft of the 700 trans? I the shaft to have a 36 spline in it for a ec quick change, any Ideas, pics?

You can buy a shaft and the coupler from a toro walk behind . I have been thinking of doing this .

this is the coupler
776230 or 776231 are a couple of the extention shafts

I just built an extension with no machining involved using parts of an old 700. Here's a link to my build. Youll find the pics as to how I built it in my thread.
