I suggest a 10in rotor with a wildwood caliper.    3/16 thickness     I have this on my GP     More then enough.

I always ran MCP rear brakes with a 12" rotor and Hegar or EC front brakes on my BP My super mods I run MCP rears but changing to a 8" shifter kart vented disk and presently EC fronts, but I am changing the fronts though gonna try something different not because they dont work just wanna try something else. But Jakes twin has the same and he is staying with the EC fronts

For me I'm going yet another route if I can sell either my bts fronts or my ec/hegar hybrids.  I'm going to go with the hegar aircraft brakes. They are easy to mount where the mcp's suck to mount. And they have bigger rotors. Paul my hegars will just shy of lock up my fronts.

I have Hegar fronts and can stop really easy. I also do not like he big rotor on the back, it causes the rear to lock up which I don't like. I put lots of pressure on my front brakes and they work great.
