B/P brakes
« on: December 08, 2013, 07:14:10 pm »
Got a set of MCP brakes that work pretty good, but looking for something a little heavier for my B/P. Any suggestions?

Get a set of MCP fronts.  They are awesome.  Big rotors.

Get a bigger rotor for your back rear brake.  That will make a bigger difference

MCP's are better.

I have BTS on the front of my BP and they are very similar to the hegars and I'm not a fan.  To small of rotors.   I have the MCP's on my FXT and they will slide the hoosiers no problem.

The MCP Front kit runs around $500-ish...APS&K, BMI,(& Others) or direct from MCP.

# MCP 4568 - Comes complete with Big 6" Discs Rotors, Calipers, Adjustable Hubs, Lines, Oil & weld on caliper mount.
Does not include the master cyl. I use the MCP750B or R(Red) Billet. $65.00 to $75.00 -ish

MCP300 Hand operated remote Front Bias Adjuster Control is a good addition. $50.00-ish

I have them on three racers. They work great.

I also tried the Brembo Floating front disc brakes, they work well to, but expensive.
