2014 Build
« on: November 15, 2013, 09:23:38 am »
Now that most organizations have finished racing for 2013 we have too much time on our hands!!!  What are your plans for next year?  What classes will you be preparing for?  As for myself, I have started on a new style FXS, different won't do this thing justice.  As of now it is just getting started and planned but it will be unique.  I may also build a new AP or ModX style small chassis, gotta keep improving.  But don't worry Rusty isn't going anywhere.
You never win a race by focusing on one aspect of the race!  Motor isn't everything, but you better have a good one!  Chassis too!  But remember, a driver can take a slow machine and make it faster!  I may not have/be the best of any of these but I'm trying!

as far as mine we are done sorta. Jakes single chassis gonna get some upgrades. We building a track here at the house to practice and get our mowers driving like we want and who knows maybe have some friends over for a good time. I have two chassis to build for customers to do this winter. A motor change in the ram charger, some body work on Jakes truck, and other customer work to do so my winter is filling up FAST!!!

Hey Chris, I've already gotten started workin on mine.  I'm rebuilding my HIP this winter!  Can't wait to try it out.  Should be ready to go by Christmas.  Then, hopefully gonna build a FXS and turn the CP into a GP.

As for myself, I'm done racing for a couple years and going back to truck pulling with my dad around the state. So between getting the new motor, building new headers and chassis changes, we will be busy. Let's not leave out the customer work to afford it all. Such as putting a 12 point cage in a Nova, finish a vega wagon chassis car(maybe), back half a Cuda, try and get moms pulling truck painted, and maybe if I have time I'll go to my day job

We we're going to do a 5.0 Coyote SWP into Bert's bad boy Pinto, but realized the power would be too much for his hip. So, I will instead, work on improving my sarcastic commentary.

FX/S Build hopefully will be finished by early spring, and continued improvements on the G/P when time allows.  Money's been very very tight this year so it's a slow going.

New FXT under construction, some improvement to the FXS and wondering what I'm going to do with the BP. The motor is moving to the FXT so probably a GP if I could find a driver who was willing to help out a little.

Freshening up 2 motors for my dads GP and my brothers JP, installing front brakes on my new BP chassis and swapping out my wore out 4.3 V6 in my Chevy for a small block 350.  Should keep me busy!

I plan to work the remote and hold my couch down. Past years I've stayed busy so this year I'm taking a break.
