Ontario racer
« on: October 16, 2013, 09:31:07 pm »
Hello fellow racers, just wanted to introduce myself on the forum. I'm located in eastern Ontario Can. and race weekly at the Cornwall raceway park dirt oval. I have been racing 2 stroke Rotax karts for a few years and just got into modified tractor racing towards the end of the race season(four races so far) and I can say without a doubt that I have found my new calling with tractor racing....this is such a blast!

So here is my machine, now that the racing season is completed, I will be doing a complete teardown/rebuild over the winter to get ready for the 2014 racing season. The tractor is powered by a single cyl Briggs flathead on methanol, a pearless 800 differential.

Rob.

Thanks, it was a YARDWORKS mower (probably an off brand of an other manufacturer)

Gui,  Cornwall and Brockville are no longer racing "Super Modified" Lawn mowers, This modified 12HP class is racing, I would say there are about 30 of these 12hp tractors built and ready to race in the area. The class is barely 3 years old. It is Very competitive, affordable and FUN  It would be nice to see it grow.
