Im asking advice from anyone who has this experience.. would stock rockers, push rods and cam from a stock 31ci single resist rocket ron's double valve springs?

Try to find two steel push rods. If your using a stock cam, why use double springs? I have stock rockers on ec dual springs with stock push rods and an ec billet cam. Seems to work fine for me. I have broke one rocker once. I'd rather break a rocker than rip out the stud... Leaving a big hole in the head.

I've pulled a stud on a bone stock motor testing carbs ... Tommy makes nice bridge work .. Ron's ...  But on stock motor no need for dual just run outer spring ...

The rockers might for awhile, the head will break however.

Stock cam run stock springs

Modified cam run old double springs.

Most double spring setups are too stiff. And the stock rockers won't take it.

Yep, What they said. I'm using billet keepers, ec outer springs, stock cam and rockers. It has worked great so far.
