GX390 or clone in a Cub Cadet

Who makes the clutch adapter to put a GX390 in a narrow frame Cub.  I believe it bolts on the flywheel and allows you to use the stock or MSC driver.

I used a K series engine aftermarket clutch hub that has the big hole in the center made for the threaded crank end for the Kohler engines. Then I drilled a new hole for the dowel pin to fit one of 3 holes on the flywheel and I also lightly sanded a few thousands off inside the hole so it will slip on the crank. Been running for 2 years now no problems.

Ok, I think I get how you did that.  I never tore into my Kohler so I'm not entirely familiar with the flywheel side of the crank.  Are you saying the Kohler flywheel nut threads are bigger than a gx390? And that you slip the aftermarket hub over the gx390 crank threads, using the flywheel nut to hold it in place and a dowel to keep it from slipping?  Solid dowel?

Thanks for you reply.

I'll sell the adapter, a cub driver will bolt to it with Three bolt pattern instead of a 4 .
PM me, as sales go in the For Sale Sections.
