Ebay is cheapest place I have found. db electrical is company name .

Do you have one that is just not functioning?  Every poorly functioning Tec starter I have come across has a bad brush plate, and that is all.  Those run anywhere from about 18 to 40 bucks for the aftermarket plate.  During assembly, you may find yourself adjusting the pressed in bushing depth as whatever poor kid in China who built it didn't have a starter to set the endplay with.
