in the debate of weather 2 peaces of C channel will be aloud for a front axle. since they are welded together wouldent it be considered one peace.in that case the stock front end isin't even one peace it;s even 2 peaces of C channel welded together to.

by the way does no elece ever reply on my build topic or is it just me. I love to here your guies's opiononson stuff.

Got an "official" USLMRA ruling from Jim Witt head tech...

Two pieces of "C" chanel welded securly together into a "one piece beam" constitutes a a one piece axle and is legal..

The "one piece" in the rule is refering to (or trying to avoid) twin beam or split axles or individually adjustable sides (not including spindle height adjustments)

So your axle as shown is legal...even if made out of two pieces of channel.

Sorry for the mistake , I meant no harm just didn't want to have you complete your build and not get to run cause of a rule misinterpretation . ONCE AGAIN SORRY , Keep up the good work and good luck this year .

I agree; flange bearings are great for building jackshafts.
