Valve cover on the top side. Brass is fine.

Here's another question, ive went ahead and went with the lmk 56 with the chock removed, velocity stack, and k&n filter. It revs up fine on higher but lower it Linda wants to sputter out and you have to play with it to get it past the sputter to reach the high but once there it's fine. I've broke off the plastic on the air fuel to have more adjustability and played with that but didn't no much. This is a stock engine and was wondering if it could be my jet to small or? Any help with this would be great! Thanks much :)

Found a carb, bolts up fine, but haven't played with it much (To busy). I have to ask though, has anyone ever tried running a k series Kawasaki 14 (I think) carb on a Kohler? Bolts up just fine, and runs great when choked (Need to fix that). Anyone done this? The Carb looks great, and very well made.

Cody.
