Does anyone sell a Chromoly 1" axle?  I can only seem to find 1-1/4"

You might want to look up the 1" flex proof axles. Not sure if they are chrome moly or not though

Switch it over to a 11/4 axle and you won't ever have a problem

I've bent a 1-1/4" chromoly axle, those light straw bales sure do feel solid when you clip one lol

HE PROMISED NOT TO SHOW ANYONE THAT! hahahahaha

If i do switch to 1-1/4" stuff, it will be next year.  But 1-1/4" axle seems a bit overkill for an A/P...

Ok not to be a smart guy but you are now asking about replacing your axle and you are looking for something stronger.

I to have bent a 1 1/4 chrome moly axle. Bent it so bad that a chain would not stay on the sprocket.

That's because u & nick where trying to see who could get more air ...... I've only bent one but it gave it a slight wobble ... But my ?? Is if yea don't hit any thing or no one hits u  the 1 inch & 1.25 aluminum would be fine right ??? ... The only reason thier bending  or braking is so those darn hay bails or billy hit the gas instead of the brakes ?

I ran 1" keyed shaft axles for years on my BP. Only time I had any problem was when somebody would slam into me.
1 of my MiniPro machines has 1" the other has 11/4" aluminum. No problem with either. The 3rd one has a 11/4" steel kart axle.
TEAM580 Limited Mods (super mod, stock engine) both have 11/4" kart axles with just 2 bearings. No problems.
Both ModXRs have 11/4" kart axles.

And we lots of races, I think around 40 this year counting National events.

I cant remember if i bumped a hay bail or i got bumped... its only slightly bent.  Still useable, the RR just has a slight wobble.  I figured if i go a little bit stronger and still use my 1" stuff, that would be sufficient and save me some money.  Especially if a lot of other people dont have issues with 1" axles on lighter machines

my fx had 1inch axle and had no problem with it even when someone hit me on the side and shredded my rim. That's why im running one on my fxs. Only problem was finding quick change hub but I fond one thankfully on parsons racing.
