Techumseh only made one v-twin, and it's a 42ci. (well, if you go by model numbers, technically 3)
A stock coil?

Yup the intek twin or briggs single ohv or any briggs twin for that matter they all work if your getting a billet wheel You will also need a vanny coil wire harness or reverse the diodes in the original harness when using the briggs coils

I took some coils off a vanguard, and one of them would not work due to the plu wire being too short. Do the intek motors have longer plug wires? Or should I get a pair of ohv single Briggs coils?

make sure you don't have the coil upside down, that's all i can think of.

Got a set of coils off an intek twin today. The plug wire on them was about an inch longer than the vanguard coils. They fit perfect.
