Yes but its a vent for your motor its got a valve in it. If air can go it than so can water. The valve doesn't let oil out until it builds to much pressure. But air is allways aloud it other wise it would build up to much pressure in the crank case. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You want a negative pressure in your crank-case.  Alot of drag racing guys use vacuum pumps to pull as much air out of their crank-cases they can to keep a vacuum, which in turn improves piston ring seal and lengthens the life of your internal parts.  I believe that's why alot of breather tubes run from the breather to inside the air cleaner.  As the carb takes in air through the air cleaner, the air moving by the breather tube creates a suction.

Goliath has about 3" travel. The shocks help out a great deal when goin over rough terrain and also when turning .Just put new rims and tires on which also makes it more stable .

Just givin everyone a heads up with Goliath .Recently Goliath had a new feature added-a pioneer stereo system.Plus put a 20 hp v-twin with Harley-Davidson exhaust 2 into 1 .Has a real nice sound to it now which people love .Also sped it up some , it will cook right along about 30-40 mph .Drag raced it last weekend .Done about 10 sec in 200 feet .Comin up Aug 10th , I'm entering Goliath in the 1st Firemens Festival Lawnmower  Pulls .Should be interesting .I'll try to get some up to date pics soon .

Well I notice since that my wife is no longer using her small business account, there are no longer any pics of Goliath anymore. So I decide do upload what pics I have of Goliath to photobucket.

 Goliath in its first stage

Goliath 1st paint

Goliath reborn

Goliath Present

Goliath at the Races

Well I could find more, but the wife would like her computer back.
